(ET) Lift motor specs

I may persue building a electric rear lift (unless I find a GE one
somewhere).

We have a DC gear motor off an old blue print machine, but no one noted the
supply voltage before the rest of the machine got trashed. Is there any way
to figure the rated operating voltage of a motor? It looks real similar to

If, so I wonder if 36 volts is too much.

I also wonder what the specs of the ET lift motor are (torque, hp, geared
down speed, etc) Anyone know?
