             I am not sure how appropriate this is for the ET forum (solar
stuff)

             My personal feeling is that solar stuff is totally appropriate
for
this list and should be encouraged. Electric tractors are the perfect way
to
store Solar generate energy and turn it into mechanical energy. As with
most
things heavy technical issue, solar or other wise  between two or three
members should be taken off line. But, other than that I'd say if it can be
used to charge an ET it's fair game for the list
