Re: (ET) More home-made vaccuum thoughts
Can't wait to see the pictures, Max.
Seems like a lot of weight for the purpose, though.
A few years ago I contacted a couple of the manufacturers of the
vacuum/shredder units to try and get just the plenum/grinder section that I
could power with a DC motor, and fab my own 'shute' for the output. They
weren't interested. I haven't checked with any of the 'dealers' to see if
I
can just order the parts, but I'm going to try that this summer.
