I got a Open Source Motor Controller kit to try out on my long in progress E14 project. This is a 4 quadrant controller good for (they claim) 160A continuous. This was developed by and for battle-bot enthusists. I think it will need some higher voltage FETs, and I will roll my own PIC based driver.
