It's a very good rust covering/preventative paint. It's not supposed to be
very UV resistant, so it should be topcoated. It's real nice for inside
battery boxes, etc. just as is.

I buy the 6-pack of  little cans since, once opened, the shelf life
plummets. A small can will pretty much do a mower deck, or most of a 
blower.
I always have something else around to use up any extra -like my garden
cart.
