By all means...support Bill!  Without him people like me would be dead.
I don't have time to build replacement parts from scratch (even if I
could).  I just like mowing my yard with my electric tractor.

Don't forget to tell him how much we all appreciate him when you talk to
him.

Why not just call up Bill Gunn?  You'll get the right part with a
minimum of 
hassle.  

You'll also be supporting him.  Bill cares enough about these tractors
to 
stock the parts, find sources of new parts, even have parts made when 
necessary.  He gives free advice over the phone and invents upgrades.
