Yes.

The plow/blade is the same thing. 

Look at the backside of the blade, you should have two large 
springs that run from the top of the blade down to the blade mount 
bar. These springs allow the blade to tip forward if it strikes 
something while plowing snow. The act of tipping forward will 
change the attack angle of the blade and allow it to run up and 
over the obstacle.

Of course, if you want a dozer then the above tipping action will 
defeat the purpose. So, there is a steel locking bar, I am not 
sure of the size 5/8"(I think) or 3/4"(maybe). The bar runs 
alongside the blade through two holes on the back of the blade 
pinning the mount plate between the blade and the bar and locking 
it from tipping forward.
