(ET) level the snowblower

This is my 3rd year using the snowblower so even tho I don't wax my chute I
rarely have problems with clogs. I cleared my driveway in southern NH 3
times this weekend and I just vary my speed to keep the blower loaded
depending on how much accumulation. I can't wait for the Alltrax controller
with infinite speed adjustment.

My question is, how do you keep your blower parallel with the ground? The
right side of my blower rides up because it's so much lighter then the left
side with the electric motor. I've been considering removing the right
spring but it seems like the lift has enough trouble picking it up (I do
have the strap doubled back). Some times the right side will not go all the
way down unless I push on it with my foot.

Any suggestions?
