my b145 does have a motor that looks like the motors in the e8 and 10 but in fact it is bigger and heavier.   but you're right, its not the same motor as in the standard e12.   the b145 does have substantial power tho, and when pushing snow piles around over the past several winters, i noticed no real difference between the b145, e12, or e15.   the limiting factor us usually traction, not power.   jon k albany ny
