RE: (ET) Chain saw availability ?

Ted;

Another consideration is to find a 36VDC to 110VAC inverter accessory and
buy a 110V saw.
I have an inverter for my Wheelhorse C-185 and a 110VAC Remington pole saw
and it works great.
I can reach limbs ~ 12' high and the saw can be removed from the pole for
other uses.
The other good thing is the ability to run all sorts of 110VAC tools off
the
inverter.

Now the only problem is coming up with an inverter.
They are also hard to find.

Subject: (ET) Chain saw availability ?

Hi Guys,

i think i remember hearing that the Elec-Trak accessory line
included a 36vdc chain saw (connectable to the PTO outlet).
Do any of these saws still exist and what may i pay for
a used one ? Any other issues ?

Thanks,
Ted
