Re: (ET) electrak swap meet
I think the tag-along with an already going meet of some sort is the best
idea.
It would be a lot less work and we would reach a lot more people who
already
come to the "main event". Out here we have EV drag races in Portland
Oregon
late in the summer, and an antique tractor meet north of seattle at one of
the
county fair grounds. Say the EV-drags might even be a place to do useful
work
with our machines, that is towing back the "dragsters" who might've blown
their
motors or drivetrains and/or we could put on tractor pull competitions
between
events. For that I'd like to put the e-tracs up against the ICE machines.
that'd probably shock some folks!
If we had multiple events across the country, east, central, west, it
might be
nice to stagger them. that way if anyone finds him/herself in another
part of
the country we'd get a chance to meet one another and see each's others
equipment. hell I might even plan a vacation around an east coast event
for
the chance to see or even purchase an implement, like a sickle bar mower...
