Re: (ET) E12S and a curtis controller??



Hi Andy,

I can't quote any numbers yet because we just don't know.
The kit price is even a bigger unknown because we want to replace the 
manual
contactor on the side of the console with a real live SEALED contactor that
will be controlled by the controller (the controller has a contactor 
control
circuit built in so it can disconnect power if a major fault occurs).  We
have not yet found a supplier for that contactor.  The field will be
controlled by the controller based on the throttle input signal, and load.
I apologize that I don't have all the answers yet.

We feel this retro kit should include all the safety features that we have
to provide on Golf Carts.  We also believe that the kit should be field
installable by a normal do-it-your-self kinda guy.  We think the kit should
include the controller, throttle control, Sealed contactor, fuse, all
necessary wiring and detailed instructions how to install everything.

Everything will be finalized after we finish upgrading my E15.  Also I 
think
there are differences between say the E15 and E20.  I don't know what those
are at this time.
Does anyone else know?

I hope this answers most of your questions Andy.  Frankly this controller
has become more popular than we thought so we were caught unprepared to
offer up all the particulars so soon.
