Re: (ET) Drive belt

I got mine from Grainger. They have a scalloped surface that mates with the pulley. I worried about that and not getting enough surface to grip. They turned out to be terrific. No slipping while plowing, mowing or hills.

My E-12 drive belt just broke after a few times around the yard with
belt dressing on it, since it was slipping. Its a Gates and says 1340
Static Safe on the back. It measures 3/8 wide and about 34 around. So I
guess its a 34 inch belt. I want to avoid the Gates and get a cut-edge
belt by Dayco or equivalent as Harold Zimmerman advised. Anyone know
what store chain, if any, sells the cut-edge belts or any belt thats
better than the fiber coated ones.?
