I've never had one of those motors apart. Since there is but two terminals
on the outside, the question I would have is............. How are the field
connections made, inside, and how did they get reversed ? Or, are the brush
connections reversed ? To reverse a shunt wound motor, either the field, or
the armature, need to have the polarity reversed. I have an untouched
motor,
languishing in the basement .........................
