Re: (ET) Problems with my E15, Need a little help

Good assesment Steve.
The resistor have a pretty good solder connection on the FW card, however
the little pin on the card edge that make connection to the main control
card
are kind of flakey. If this is the case, find out which drive speed seems
to
do this the most. If it happens at full speed, all 4 FW switches are open,
SW1-SW4.
That means a bad connection to any one of the resistor would open the field
circuit.
Without a field your motor will draw massive amount of current and won't
move.
Carefully inspect all of the pins on this FW card and make sure they are
making continuity.
Another possibility is the Reversing contactor 'REV' If you don't measure
any resistance or
high resistance between the keyswitch and battery ground (check while
keyswitch is off on the field side
of the keyswitch - see schematic), then a contactor is stuck and the field
circuit is open.
I've attached a schematic in PDF format for reference.
