Thanks, David and Joe for the info. about the
tractor pull. I'm not going to bring my E10M, because I have nothing to
transport it on for one thing, but I do plan to be there.
George Gless should be interesting to have
there and to talk to. He is a Professor (retired by now, I think) of Electrical
Engineering at Univ. of Colo. Boulder. I'm sure that he is the one who has been
written up in the Boulder Camera for his interest and work in electric vehicles.
They make good student engineering projects.
For the class of the tractor, the number
after the E was the design horsepower class that GE assigned, I'm sure. I should
think that that would be used in a tractor pull.
