RE: (ET) Electric Wheelbarrow

Jim,
I just looked at your photos - Great job!!

You should definitely show it to the D-I-Y magazines - I have no doubt you'd have serious interest fast.

Subject: (ET) Electric Wheelbarrow

I built an electric wheelbarrow using battery, motor and controller from a Currie electric bike I bought on e-bay.   It works great for hauling gear up and down the footpath to my cabin in the woods.  Lots of low-end torque that makes even the steep parts a breeze, even with a heavy load.

I wonder if I could sell the idea as a do-it-yourself project to a D-I-Y type magazine (e.g, Popular Science or Popular Mechanics)?
