Re: (ET) Rechargeable Push Mower Wanted

This was recently discussed on the EV list. Several people mentioned the
Black & Decker CMM-1000 and indicated they liked it pretty well.

There's a rechargeable mower with (I think) a swappable battery here:

http://www.cleanairmowing.com/electricmowers.html

It costs $260, which I think is significantly less than the B&D. It's a
pretty small mower, though -- only a 15" cut -- and it's out of stock
until
July anyway. (FYI, I know nothing about this mower beyond what the
website
says, and I've never owned one. I have a corded B&D MM-450, which is OK
but
not great.)

I'm considering converting a gas mower with an ET deck motor and blade,
and
3 small 12v gel batteries.
