I keep my Elec-trak key on a hook in the mud-room, high up on the wall,
out of reach of my 4 and 6 year olds.  Just for that reason.  Learned the
lesson when my now_year_old lost the shed key years ago, and it had one
of those large (6"x1") rectangular blue plastic things attached to the
keychain.
Go figure.   Hmm, maybe a 20lb weight machine weight attached to the next
one?  If you can't carry it, you can't use or lose it!
