Jim,
I use all my gears and speeds. The tractor is used to move boats,
trailers,
lawn sweeps and the mower. I always try to set my speed with the gears and
run the motor at full. I only use the resistors when I need "EXRTA fine
control".

Wish we could send pictures to the club so I could show my 15 or 20
hauling 3 carts and an 8' wagon all loaded with firewood and all
attached at the same time (in a row). (Close to a cord on 1 tractor) I
would be lost for sure without LL gear on the hills and I run to the
woodlot in HH gear and use all 4 all the time so this discussion leaves
me saying HUH!!?? Try moving a 22 foot cruiser without LL and talk about
wasting juice, why stay in 3rd with the motor wound out tight when going
any distance. Am I missing something here. I can't be the only one
peforming such a wide range of tasks with my ETs. I could go on, but I
won't.
