RE: (ET) Transformer

Fine. The lights are about 5 amps at 12V. The lift is 18V, and I have
never measured the current. That takes 2 D to D's. Other 'add-on' 12V
things are the horn (low current) and a tail light (low current) but some
people have added radios (fairly high current) and even such things as 12V
to 120V AC inverters, for high current tools, with VERY high current.

Read about some good (expensive) Vicor's at http://www.vicr.com/

Okay, the technical term is "DC to DC converter". Can you give me some
ideas of where to look for one?

I think the only non-36V accessories on the E20 are the lights (&horn)
and the front lift. I also have a 12V to 1000W AC inverter. Assuming
that kind of load, what do I look for?
