On the subject of clip-on current measuring probes, I have the
Wavetek CT237, which I'm very happy with and would recommend to
others. The distinguishing feature of this device is a setting for
20A full-scale, which means that it will accurately measure much lower
currents than most similar instruments. I think it's fairly
expensive, however.
