regarding cutting around trees, i like the belly mounted mowers.  usually 
an 
e8 or 10 is what i use.  not that the front mounted mowers wouldn't do 
well, 
in fact in some ways you can get closer with a front mount, but turning 
radius is larger as are storage requirements.   
    i have an e12 midmount here that would like to be restored, if 
anyone's 
interested, 250
    mowing  1 to 2 acres should be no problem on one charge, for good 
batteries, but even for the 10$ used batteries i buy, 1/2 hour of charge 
brings the batteries back up enough to finish the job.  . good luck, jon k
