Has anyone heard of anyone converting the E-trac to a 48volts by using 6
8v
batteries??
Why do such a thing? Here's the logic: Real Goods and others sell wind
powered generators in 12, 24, and 48v sizes. Here in the PNW we don't get
much
sunshine till about July-Aug. ;^) and may need both wind and solar to
generate
enough power to make it worthwhile. So park the E-trac in the wind/solar
shed
and charge it's batteries AND used as an alternate power source for 1 or
2 110 circuts.
just a dry idea perhaps...
