Agree, David - my electrics sit in an unheated & leaky shed as do the
"fuelies" (farm tractors) all winter, I top up the electrak, the JD is
on an automatic trickle charge, The tractor batteries I just top up in
the spring before use.  Get lots of years without any hassle.

I think ferrets will hunt rats also, then you have a ferret problem.
Chipmunks are more pesty that the other rodents, they keep leaving plum
pits  & stuff jammed into everything.
