I had in mind something simpler. We could use the mailing list archive
as a
database. You would just send out an email with the subject line in a
fixed
format, such as:
ETPS: Tiller bearings
ETPS means ET Parts Source. The body of the message would give the
specifics. A search on ETPS: and what you're are interested in would
yield
the desired results. If someone wants to do something more formal, these
postings could be easily culled. I will follow this email with an
example.
