(ET) ETon Ebay

Just spoke with Mr. Holland, who is the current owner of the E15 on E-Bay.

New pictures should be posted tomorrow. Apparently there's been a problem
with the scanner at the local WalMart, so no new pics yet.

According to him, the E15 is in pristine condition - no rust or dents. The
batts are bone dry, so no testing has been done to see what works or not.
However, the E15 has been garaged for its' entire life, and only used one
year.

I used to do some car restoration, and I'd assume someone will see some
fairly unique problems from an ET sitting for 26 years without running.
The tires are probably worthless (although they look good), and I'd
suspect corrosion on the electronics and bearing surfaces. This would be a
neat ET to pull apart and rebuild since there is very little work-related
wear on the unit, only time. Since the metal surfaces are good, this would
be an excellent frame for sending off to the powder-coating shop and
getting a tough finish on it!

One other thing - shipping is not arranged for the unit by the seller
"unless he gets an awful lot of money for it". It's in a fairly small town
in a remote area of Arkansas... the next larger town is about 35 miles
away!
