(ET) Front Bracket

I finally have (bought) a front-mounting bracket for the full 
frame tractors.  Fine.  Now how does one get the mounting pin 
off the frame?  It might be just rusted or frozen, but a pretty 
good whack with a small sledge didn't budge it.  I have a torch 
available, but want to make sure there isn't some other trick 
before I get the torch hot.

Suggestions?
