Yes, Dave, the comment about "spreading" the tire is good, I usually use
a band clamp or not having one, just a piece of line twisted tight with
a screwdriver to force the bead into position. Another thought, In the
case where I had a really bad tire, I put it ont the rim and then
squirted it full of expanding foam, really works (:-)
