Hello
This is a question for the folks out there on the list who have
done
a full restore on an Etraks. What I am trying to do is get electrical parts
off the frame without disconnecting every single wire. Basically leaving
the
main assemblies fully wires. In short I want to separate the Black stuff
from the Yellow stuff so I can prep and paint the yellow stuff.
I've been studying the schematics, and the wiring diagrams and look at my E
12 and it seems to me that the main wiring harness can be removed from the
bottom of the tractor. Simply by disconnecting the main leads from panel
under dash. In this way the most the wiring from under the dash will
remain
connected, then this panel (with the main, solenoids) a can be removed as a
unit along with the panel with the relays on it, then the dash as a unit.
Has anybody out there done this ? Am I on the right track? Can these little
tractor be disassembled into large assembles or am I just dreaming.
