(ET) Electronics Lesson

I do not have any background in electronics and maybe this information 
would
help some of the other Electric tractor owners besides myself.
I am trying to get familiar with reading my electrical schematic and if
someone could help explain the following it would really help.

Can anyone explain the function of the relays/coils/solenoids for my C-185
Wheelhorse.
First; are they relays, coils, solenoids or something else, and what is the
difference between these 3 ?

The function of the following relays/coils/solenoids off my schematic ?
