Bill also claims his has lower resistance across the device.  The 
difference
is 
probably trivial for power consumption, but will keep the device 
temperature

lower.  BTW, I have yet to fail an ORIGINAL switch.

When I bought Bill Gunn's replacement disconnect it cost less than $20 and
included a heavy circuit board to accomodate the fusible link.  I don't
think you can go wrong with the unit Bill sells.
