I've scanned in a picture of the standard differential from
the Peerless manual
and the duo trak differential and put the pictures on my
website:
The duotrak has pinion and side gears, but no bevel gears at
all.
My service manual lists the E12 as E12S 26AE12AA. Maybe
they had a change
after that revision tractor. My tractor is E20 model
number 26AE20BA, and according to
the schematics sections, there were wiring and component
changes on later models.
Also, note that Peerless statement in my previous
posting
"At the same time, there are certain extreme conditions in
which the
Limited Slip Differential cannot be expected to provide
traction."
And the paragraph before this one:
"However, this feature cannot be demonstrated by jacking one
wheel off the ground
or placing one wheel in an extremely slippery position."
Like a patch of ice, maybe?
