Evening, Jeff: Yes, you need to loop the lift
strap for compound action, that blower is heavy. The strap goes over the
lift roller, down to the blower pin which need a roller them back up to the
lower pin on the lift arm. I never used a stabilizer on mine, it seemed to
lift enough to transport.
