I suspect that the dethatching may put a big load on the electric mower
motors. On my 5 hp gas rotary, the engine bogs quite often when using the
dethatcher, a considerable difference from its behavior when just cutting
grass. Maybe borrow a gas mower or dethatcher and save the electrack?
