I first would like to thank you all for your interest in and commitment to
the elec-trak and to the environment.
This is a great group I have been following the messages for a while.
I want to find Elec-Trak tractors accesories, literature, and manuals.
This is my first contribution to the list so I'll tell you my story
for what its worth. I am the director of an organisation called the Green
Planet Foundation and we have a keep interest in learning and teaching
about green technology. The Green Planet Foundation in conjunction with
our parent organization the CNHA which has been at the for front of
environmental and natural health education for over 39 years are launching
an environmental health education program this year, called GREEN WORKS.
GREEN WORKS will be a touring exhibit that promotes programs for
Reducing, Recycling and Reusing as well as green technology and programs
that support Green Community Economic Development Projects.
The objective of the exhibit is to raise consciousness in the community
about the many ways that every individual
can participate locally in protecting our environment globally.
To compliment the Green Works exhibit we are also creating a
demonstration centre called "Green Planet - ECO CENTRE" where we will be
demonstrating green technology in action ranging from renewable energy
sources and high efficiency tools to recycled products, reusable household
items to composting and organic gardening techniques. The demonstration
centre will be an education centre where people can learn about green
living . It also will be a pilot project for our planed "Village Green"
an eco village which will demonstrate green community systems and
technology. One of the elements of our touring exhibit is our GPF - ECO
CAR.
At our ECO-CENTER we intend to demostrate a zero emission electric
tractor. We have aquired a General Electric E-15. Inspite if is age this
electric tractor provides both a symbol and a practical model for the
future of practical and environmentally responsible domestic technology.
Once we have added a number of practical attachment the tractor will be
one of the center pieces of our demonstration center.
The center will get substantial exposure across the country both from our
promotional programs as well as in the media. A video is being shot on
the creation of the GPF - ECO CENTER and other green solutions which will
also get wide distribution to community organizations. In addition a
video press release will also precede many of our annual programs. When
not in use at the Eco Center the tractor will go on tour with our ECO-CAR
and be on display in the large version of our GREEN WORKS traveling
exhibit.
Our sponsors will be acknowledged not only in our literature but also on
the traveling exhibit itself on our soon to be launched
www.greenplanet.org web site and in the our video productions related
to the tour and our demonstration centre.
We would like to formally invite any of you to be one of the sponsors of
the Green Planet Foundation by providing us with any literature or
information about the Elec-Trak or accesories for the electric tractor to
be displayed at our Eco Center. We would also appreciate any donation of
accesories that add to our ability to demonstrate the Elec-Trak
functionality. If you know of any available Elec-Trak tracters or other
green technology that may be available for the museum and demonstration
site please let me know.
We in turn would provide any donors with a charitable tax receipt for the
retail value of your contribution as well as exposure and publicity
attached to the traveling exhibit and the demonstration centre. I believe
that anyone would enjoy and benefit from association with the GPF ECO
CENTRE, the GREEN WORKS traveling exhibit as well as our educational
programs. If you would like more information or have any questions please
email me at lifesmith phc igs net or call our toll free line
"1(877)ONEARTH".
I thank you for your interest and your support and I look forward to any
reply.
