As late as early this year, Fair Radio, Lima, Ohio, had in stock an unused
tap switch, 4PDT, with knob, rated at 60 amps DC per section. It's a
beauty -- I have bought a half dozen or so over the last year. As I
recall, they were less than 10 bucks each. If you tie the sections
together, you can get 120 amps 2PDT or 240 amps SPDT, although these
parallel ratings would apply only if you avoided switching under load.
Since this is military surplus and about the size of a coffee mug, I
wouldn't be afraid to use this switch above its rated capacity. Hope this
