(ET) off-topic messages

I would like this to be a low-volume and highly focused list.  I
didn't complain before when there were lots of messages in a few days,
because at least they had to do with electric motors.  The current
discussion of refrigerators has gone too far.  If you want to post
off-topic messages, send them to the EV list, where there are are
often a hundred messages a day anyway.
