Re: [m-hb] Fwd: Update: COVID-19 & Student Organization Events
The UW tower has also stopped ringing due to the virus.
There are several hundred confirmed cases in the Seattle area, including 26
deaths. It had been circulating undetected for a couple of weeks, and
there are believed to be perhaps a thousand undiagnosed cases. Most
employers are having people work from home if possible, and all the schools
in the county and the two adjacent counties are closed for the next month
and a half to slow its spread. Of course if everyone stayed home it would
disappear.
