One question is whether they definitely want us to slide (is the choir sliding too? specific subsets of the congregation?). Decades ago, a choreographer used a recording of rounds, and the dancers rocked back and forth on the floor in time, as though they were bells. I'm not advocating that, just saying that there are other movement things that might work if Jenna and Sue want to experiment.

I think we should go along with the project, if the church wants us to be part of the collective. Would we need to present a specific recorded bit of ringing and move along to it?.

Hi! This came to me back in May, at a tricky time, and has sadly languished. Would people be interested in this? We would need to both ring something and take part in a “physical representation”. I think the timing is soonish, in that the residency ends sometime this fall.
Thanks,
Ricky

One of our prompts that we're interested in capturing is something we call a 'Pew Slide', and we're intrigued to see overlapping heads in one aisle of box pews from the perspective of the back of the sanctuary. An example can be seen here <https://vimeo.com/310001541>, and a solo version here <https://www.instagram.com/p/Bxudbb_l0yK/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link>.

We'd instead like to directly correlate it with a/some methods (as there are 8 regular sized box pews per aisle!), using slight physical variations of sliding to correlate with the bells ringing. Ideally, we would edit the video so the pew slide would be a physical representation of the method as you're hearing it.
