Dear all,

 

It is with great sadness that I let you know that Paul Windels passed away this afternoon.  He suffered a heart attack at Kent while on his way to ring at the chapel.

 

We will send the Trinity band's deepest condolences to Paul's wife Cathy, and to their two children Mary Catherine and Paul Jr.  We will also arrange ringing to commemorate Paul.

 

Paul learnt to ring while a student at Groton, and he was a dedicated and longstanding ringer at Brewster, Kent and New York.

 

I will pass along details of funeral arrangements and other plans to remember Paul in the coming days.
