Boston Area Physics Calendar



 

Hey all – as we start a new year of seminars around the area, just wanted to remind you of the process.

 

As always, please send any announcements to:

 

bapc-events cosmos phy tufts edu

 

 

The deadline for the following week’s calendar will be Wednesday each week at 2 p.m. (as it has been in prior years).  If you miss that deadline, then you will send your announcement to the late notice distribution which is:

Remember that the late announcements go to everyone.

 

Here’s a summary of how the process works.  Let us know if you have any questions!

 

 

 

 

Welcome to the BAPC!  Here are some things you need to know:  The Boston Area Physics Calendar is published weekly during the academic year by the Department of Physics at Tufts University.  Entries should reach us no later than 2:00 pm the Wednesday preceding the week of the actual event

NOTE: Entries that are past the deadline will have to be sent by you to the BAPC late entry email address listed below.

 

  • Talks will ONLY be accepted if they are submitted in the correct format and are pasted in the body of the email.  DO NOT send attachments of word documents, etc..

 

 

 

 

  • Deadline to submit your talk:  Entries should be emailed to the calendar coordinator no later than 2:00 pm on the Wednesday preceding the week of the actual event.

 

  • If you miss the 2:00 pm submission deadline:  You’re responsible for sending your own talk in via the BAPC-late email address above.

 

  • Corrections/changes:  If there is a change of time or correction on your talk you will need to send it out yourself via the BAPC-late email address and note ‘CORRECTION’ on the subject line.

 

Please note that all submissions should be emailed to me using the below format…NO ABSTRACTS please...and should be typed or copied into the body of the email (no attachments).  We only announce the essential specs of the talk, as seen below.
