[Assistant-faculty] Training Dates - Can you take part?
All,
You may have noticed that recently some communications have gone out
regarding the new online expense system that Tufts is beginning to use. To
clarify, this system will be used for ALL travel and business expenses,
replacing paper. As well, every employee will need to have some comfort
with the system. While there is an option to allow admin staff to enter
your expense reports, faculty will have to log in and accept/submit the
reports before they are processed.
We are being offered the opportunity to train on this system early, rather
than being one piece of the larger A&S group, which will enable us to get
a bit more attention.
The dates that are available to us are August 22nd or 23rd.
I am wondering if enough staff and faculty will be around to make that
training worth setting up. Another option is to do this training in early
September, but I would anticipate everyone will be very busy then. Would
you kindly let me know if you will be around 8/22-23/12 and if you will be
able to take part in an training that will take approximately 2-3 hours.

Shannon, you indicated at the last meeting that you'd be interested in
having Physics & Astronomy trained early for Apptricity.
What about August 22 or 23 for this?
Are there any faculty that prepare their own expense reports that would
need to be trained with the admin staff?
