Two applications of Nambu-Goldstone bosons in cosmology

Abstract:

We will discuss (1) the implications of certain spontaneously broken symmetries for cosmological correlation functions, and (2) the possibility that dark matter is comprised of an ultra-light axion-like particle, one whose de Broglie wavelength is astronomical.
