Multifield Inflation with Nonminimal Couplings: Lessons from PLANCK
Evangelos Sfakianakis
MIT
Abstract:
The anomalous deficit of power in the low multipoles from the Planck experiment's anisotropy measurements may indicate the presence of primordial isocurvature perturbations. Nonminimally coupled multifield inflation models generically provide a viable mechanism for their origin, as well as excellent agreement with other Planck results. I will describe the covariant formalism developed to treat these models and discuss their observational signatures.
