Next “Paper Discussion” Meeting

Back in September 2015

   “Paper Discussion” will be lasting 1 hour, during which 2 papers will be discussed. Each paper will be presented by a different person (2 students each week, and sometimes 1 student and 1 senior astronomer), who will be the primary reader. All papers should be read by everybody though, so that a critical discussion can actually happen.        

    The primary reader will summarize the paper in 15-20 min, allowing 10-15 min for discussion. “Paper Discussion” is mandatory for graduate students in astronomy. Undergraduate students are most welcomed to participate. If you are an undergraduate student and would like to participate, please let me know (Alejandro.Bedregal.at.tufts.edu).
