My kids and their dogs are coming over Saturday afternoon to make me an
early Father's Day dinner. If it would make the whole day happen (e.g.
Cally or someone replaces me for the
afternoon) I could come to the 11-1 session only, leaving promptly at 1.

I'm relatively enthusiastic to dance, if it happens, since I don't get too
many chances. But I understand if it's a busy weekend!

abandoning it? In order to make it happen, we would have to have 8 completely
positive responses, not 7
+ some maybes. If other people are ambivalent, we could abandon it
and I could play with my guest(s).
