[tg] Collection of old MS square dance tapes on Internet Archive



Dates range from the '50s to the '90s.

For example:

Lee Kopman from 1976 (note that he just calls Transfer the Column, but walks
the dancers through Pass the Ocean in the first tip).  He teaches Kick Off in the
second tip (having devised it himself the previous year).

I also listened to a bit of  the Jay King dance.

Unless these tapes are sped up, folks definitely danced faster back then.
(Kopman is consistently about 137 bpm, for example, although Jay King's first
tip is a relatively leisurely 128 bpm.)
