[SOS-Boston] Last meeting of the year, tonight at 7
Hi folks
Not sure if anyone is around, but I'll be there at 7 tonight. This is the last of the Tuesday 7 pm meetings, as I am moving the meetings to Wednesdays at 5:30 (same room).
I'll be making another change as well, namely, flying the meeting under the banner of LifeRing (as opposed to SOS). LifeRing has a pretty extensive online presence, and I have found their email lists, chat rooms, and phone meetings to be excellent resources for people struggling with sobriety. They have a decent network of sober people, who do a great job providing support to people who need it (encouragement, practical advice, shared experience, more encouragement). The only thing required is that you admit to yourself (and others) that you need a little help. Their website is http://www.unhooked.com
I'm moving my address book over to my LifeRing account, namely liferingBBbos gmail com, so you'll get your weekly reminders from that email address, beginning in the new year.
The next meeting (after tonight) is Wednesday January 6, 2010 (yes, 2010) at 5:30.
Hope you all have a peaceful holiday.
