Physics Theorynet Meeting, August 21, 2021 Virtual place on Zoom MINUTES -------- Attending: Tim Fitzgibbon, Kingston High School Scott Goelzer, Coe-Brown Northwood Academy NH Mike Wadness, Medford HS Nishant Agarwal, UMass Lowell Tomasz Taylor, Northeastern University ------------------------------- It was a short and small meeting to discuss preliminary plans for the next year. It looks like schools are getting back to normal although the pandemic is still here, so many restrictions are in place. Those that concern Theorynet the most are the school visiting protocols. Teachers promised
to enquire with school administration and figure out if we can resume visits in person. We will meet again in October to finalize pairings. Tom is already paired with Tim who just started teaching in Kingston HS. Nishant will work with Scott.
The beginning of school year is very busy, but please let me know as soon as things settle -- we can set up some visits even before the October meeting. We will get together again on October 16 (Saturday), still on Zoom. All the best in new school year! Tom |
